If we turn to the history of Buryatia, we will recall
that in the pre-revolutionary period the Great Tea
Road passed through the territory of Buryatia, and
our republic has a glorious tradition of centuries-
old international trade in Russia. Many years have
passed, history repeats itself cyclically, and today
we see that Buryatia is once again becoming
Russia's gateway to Asia. This provides great
opportunities and growth points for businesses

in the field of international trade for the benefit
of Buryatia and Russia.

Every year, enterprises of Buryatia take prizes in
the All-Russian competition "Exporter of the Year".
This year, our companies won the most first places
at the All-Russian competition "Exporter of the Year"
in the Far Eastern Federal District.

The task of our catalog is to present the potential
of the Republic of Buryatia to foreign partners.
